Binion's is a legendary establishment of Old Vegas that boast the honor of being the home to the World Series of Poker. Although this year the WSOP will be played at the Rio , Binion will host the tournament's final two days (July 14 and 15). Binion's is a player's resort with a casino that's been a favorite of poker aficionados for years. The nearby Fremont Street Experience endeavors to make Las Vegas a kind of amusement park, but Binion's continues with business as usual. This is a hotel-casino for adults. Binion's 50,000-square-foot casino is where the World Series of Poker and the Hall of Fame Poker Classic were created and though most of the tournament has moved to the Rio , Binion's casino is still a favorite of poker aficionados. The 50,000-square-foot casino has a variety of fast-paced action, with 42 single-deck blackjack tables, slots galore, plus a large race and sports book. Caribbean stud and Pai Gow poker, Mini Baccarat, roulette, craps, race and sports books and Keno also are on hand, among many other gaming diversions. The 366-room hotel has a pool area on the 25th floor with a view of downtown and the Strip. There are two free shows: the Fremont Street Experience, right outside the door; and Honky Tonk Cowgirls, who sing Western tunes four times a night in the casino. In Benny's Bullpen, comedian Vinnie Favorito performs five nights a week. It's worth noting that one of the best inexpensive late-night steak dinners can be had at Binion's. Good steak is a Binion's tradition, whether it's the Ranch Steakhouse, a stylish penthouse restaurant on the 24th floor with a great view of the Las Vegas skyline, or the late-night steak-and-eggs special in the Original Coffee Shop.
