MIKE SEXTON Television Commentator and Poker Relations Consultant

A professional poker player and leading writer/strategist, considered as one of the premier ambassadors of poker, Mike Sexton serves as both a television commentator and Poker Relations Consultant for the World Poker Tour. Sexton has won three major No Limit Hold'em poker championships in which the buy-in was $5000 or more, has captured four Best All-Around Player awards, and was the 2000 European Poker Champion.

Sexton was the founder of poker's Tournament of Champions, which set a new standard for poker tournaments. He was also the creator of the PartyPoker.com Million. In collaboration with PartyPoker.com, Linda Johnson, and CardPlayer Cruises, an event was developed that allows players to play online for a small amount of money with the opportunity to win $1 million in a poker tournament aboard a cruise ship. He still actively plays poker and writes columns for Card Player and Gambling Times magazines.

A former paratrooper in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division, Mike received a degree in Public Recreation from Ohio State University, which he attended on a gymnastics scholarship.
